“Marlene, or shall I say ‘Mom’, did an absolutely amazing job officiating my wedding. Now, I am not just saying this because she is my Mom. In fact, she really impressed me with the level of professionalism and her ability to tailor the wedding ceremony to our specific needs. She worked with me before hand to pick out the style of the wedding in terms of phrases and the wording used during the ceremony. When I wanted to edit the wording, and add a poem that I felt better captured the feel of our vows (on a beach in Mexico), she was very encouraging and complimentary, and weaved it seamlessly into the rest of the ceremony.
What impressed me the most? My mom is a crier. This woman will be watching a mayonnaise commercial on TV and she will be crying her eyes out (don’t get me started on “The Notebook”). While I was saying my vows, like mother like daughter, I was thanking heaven for the invention of waterproof mascara. My mother, on the other hand, was smiling, composed, and dry eyed!
She is such a warm, caring, and enthusiastic person, and her glowing personality really made our wedding special and memorable. I know she can do the same for your big day!”
